LESSON 1: The Name of God is a Strong Refuge
Several stories by survivors of Typhoon Haiyan reveals how simple utterance of the name of God did them salvation.Coconut Tree Falling
A family expected that the coconut tree would directly fall to their house, but after saying the word of God, a strong wind changed its direction leaving them safe.
Clinging to a Papaya Tree
The papaya tree is never a strong tree, but for someone with faith in God, this is more than enough to be saved from the flood. He held strongly to it while he watched the strong wind pulled the roots of the sturdier coconut trees. Amazingly, the inferior papaya remained on the ground; thus saving him.
LESSON 2: A Glimpse of the Apocalypse
Some is yet to be convinced that the Bible speaks of the future, but with the recent devastation that happened in Tacloban; it is enough for anyone to be convinced. The Bible is more than a literary masterpiece. It is a window into the future and those who are wise should be cautious of its warnings.
Events such as:
Looting
Rape
Hunger
makes one think that there nothing SURE in this world and only GOD knows what will happen in the future. The next question is, "Are you prepared of HIS arrival?"
LESSON 3:Revealing the True Church
While a popular religion in the Philippines, the Iglesia ni Manalo, closed its door to the victims of Typhoon Haiyan; the Members Church of God International showed affection to anyone who needed aid. They were ready to:
Feed the hungry with ready to eat food
Shelter those who needed rest
Provide warm relief to those who needed comfort
Is there anything to learn from Typhoon Haiyan? Definitely, there is! Bro. Eliseo Soriano and Bro. Daniel Razon revealed just some of these.
As following the personal prophecy, we can see that many terror effects in past days and may be in coming days which are not good. All the nations want to remain calm and peace and maintain the law order of the society. As the bible states that all the religions are equal and all the man and women are mother and sister we should follow the path of the bible to stay with peace with all religions.
